The Arts Society Runnymede

Interested in all things arty?   Picasso to underground advertising.  Join us for a free lecture.

We hold lectures each month from September through to July on a broad range of arts based subjects. Recent topics have ranged from  Ups and Downs of the Impressionists – all presented by experienced Arts Society accredited lecturers.

In addition:

• A Special Interest Day is held each year allowing for a more in depth look at an artistic subject and the opportunity to socialise with other members over lunch.
• There are visits to places of interest: past visits have been to All Saints, the Queens Private Chapel in Windsor Great Park, The Lansdowne Club  and a guided walking tour of  Shakespeare in London.
• We also arrange new member tea events and members’ lunches so that members can meet each other.
• We sometimes join with fellow societies in the West Surrey Area  for events.

New members are welcomed and guests and visitors are invited to attend a meeting free of charge as an introduction to this friendly society, just turn up and look for our ‘Welcome Desk’.
